    does anyone know where i can find decals or new cowling i have an 1980 150 hp v-6 and would like to find the bigger 86 thru 88 xr-4 ( lift off type) cowling? or decals for my cowling (the swing open type)

    speedometer question

    my speedo is water fed via hose from lower unit, merc 150 hp 1980 model. do they make an adapter to hook a mechanical speedo up or no. i am replacing all my gauges and the stewart warner catalog only showed mechanical or electric speedo, did not know if mechanical was the water fed one or what?

    i have a '80 merc 150 xr2. on top of the top carb is a 3 x 5 box with 3 wires coming off of it. is this a idle stabilizer or an low/high speed spark advance module? i'm lost? i appreciate all of yall's responce
