Is there any chance that 3M 5200 is permanent enough to mount a leaning post without any screws. I purchased a leaning post/livewell combination (it is all fiberglass about 38" square) and I don't want any more screws thru the floor of my boat. If I 3M the entire perimeter would it be strong...
Will 5200 cure in cold weather?
Low 40's - high mid 60's - next several days.
If it will cure, can If I use it tonight (Tuesday) and fiberglass (on Friday) (High 80 fri and sat) around the piece I am glueing down tonight and the 5200 still cure under the fiberglass?

I am doing some glass work to my boat. I have realized that the sanding is no fun.
Below is a link that shows (I hope) the kind of sander that I am using. There has got to be something faster. What are you guys using? I have 40 Grit paper but it is still slow.

planning to build some storage boxes in the back of my Carolina Skiff.
I guess i am going to using Polyester resin and Gel coat. So after I get it glassed do I apply the gel coat while the resin is tacky or do I have to wait for it to dry?

I bought a 2009 boat that came pre rigged for a Suzuki motor. My motor is a 2003 115hp Suzuki.
The wiring harness is different between the year model. can anyone provide wiring diagrams and I splice the wires together. or does Suzuki have a converter plug that fixes this.
