    B/W transmission shifting??

    I have an older B/W transmission that I have never used. While on the bench if you turn the input shaft the output coupler goes in the same direction regardless of the placement of the shift lever. It is a 1:1 AS1-71C. Thanks

    Looking at getting a Rude 6hp/1965. Owner says it has 90 lbs compression on both cyls. Is this good? What is normal for this engine? Thanks in advance.

    1968 Evinrude 3 hp cooling

    Should the 3 hp Rude have a tell tale? Also I am replacing the impeller and there is a round plate just below the impeller. It has a crescent shot on it and I cannot remember if the slot went to the front or back or does it even matter. Thanks crew!

    Decarbonizing engine

    Correct me if I am wrong but it seems that to "decarbonize" an engine you need to mix one can of Seafoam to 1 gallon of fuel? I know this sounds like a dumb question but..I'm assuming that you use mixed fuel (oil and gas) to decarbonize 2 cycle engines.
