I have a 9780s weber 4 bbl on my1996 Chaparral 4.3LX Mercrusier. A 9600 Weber 4bbl should be on that engine. Will the bigger 9780s do any harm to the 4.3 LX? The 9780s came off of a V8 5.7
What is the correct fluid to use in the trim cylinders motor oil, dextron ll or quicksilver power trim and steering fluid. I'm sure I have a mix in mine.
I own a 1996 Chaparral 1930ss and there must be a way to take out the rear seats and back panel to get at the engine eaiser. The engine lid comes off without no problem. Maybe someone has the answer. Here is a pic of the seat set up I have.

I just purchased a 1996 Chaparral 1930ss. It has a 4.3 vortec engine and I can't seem to find the dipstick. Can anyone help me find it. I'm thinking it doesn't have one. I want to change the oil before I take it out.
