    I've always heard to store it down, so water won't collect in the foot & rust the seals. What do ya'll think.

    Is there any way to find out a part number for this Carb? The motor itself is long gone, along with the model & serial numbers. I know it's from an Evinrude, not sure what year. I seem to remember the horsepower was between 25 & 35 HP. Any help would be great.

    Math question about engine cylinder volume/pressure

    The engine cylinder is rated at 49ccs. The bore is 39mm. The stroke is 41.4mm. The compression ratio is 8.8:1 The question is; How many kpa/psi should I see on the compression tester? Thanks in advance! I'm thinkin this might be an "entertaining" thread.:rolleyes:
