where can you find exploded parts views of volvo i/o setups? just so you know i don't have a true volvo setup as it is a gm marine 5.7 with a dp-290 outdrive but it is closely setup to a volvo. i want to see how the alternator is mounted.
also does the tach reading come from the distributor...

it is very stiff going in and out of gear. it is an old unit and i am not sure that last time it was serviced.

This really could go anywhere but I do have a Pentagon setup. i may adjust the idle mixture on the albe sat morning sometime. don't really feel that i got it like it needs to be at beginning of season. it looks like the absolute best way is with a vacuum but this carb does not have vacuum...
have a volvo penta hydraulic steering ram p/n 852741 ipa-hh, p03, 8412 04723. that is everything that is printed on ram. the 852741 is the part number. i believe the wiper seal is leaking.
after some searching this part is obsolete. volvo used to make a repair kit, also obsolete.

got a 2010 5.7 vortec. edelbrock 1409 carb very recently been rebuilt by a very trusted mechanic.
i re installed carb and attempted to set idle mixture. i don't have much experience so i am sure it could have been done better.

20 second video of engine running. the focus is the water pump which is the brass housing in center. I then move camera over to the hose bringing water to pump. seems like a lot of vibration. is this normal? it actually looks a little worse in person in my opinion.

Going to look at a boat on Sunday. It is an Albemarle 242 express. The boat is a 1989 model. A guy bought it and did his own restore project. Most of the stuff he did can easily be looked at when on site (paint, rigging, accessories, etc)
