    Hi guys I recently bought an 89 evinrude 40hp that didn't run well so I'm trying to bring her back to life. I replaced the spark plugs.     hiawatha info

    I am new at this and just acquired my first vintage motor. All I know about it is that it is a hiawatha model 25-7971. I see a decal that says 2hp on it and the motor is a jet drive. Yes no prop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to restore it. Thank you!
