Still haven't put my new-to-me boat in the water yet this season. Weather has been lousy.
My covers for the boat are toast. I took it to a shop and they wanted $1500 to redo the two covers. (bow and cockpit)

First run out for the boat. (November 8th...in Canada!!) There are a few things that will need to be investigated.
I ran the boat for about 45 min with no issues prior to this happening.
The last mile to the dock I opened it up. Touched the trim....engine did what sounded like a misfire...
I just got an estimate for some boat repairs.
There are a few items, two of which are to change the water pump on the motor and to change the steering cable.
They quoted 2 hours for each. (4 hours total)
Does that seem reasonable?

What I thought would be a straight forward process has turned more difficult. I've pushed 8' of hose down the fuel line and feels like I've hit a barrier. Is there something at the edge of the tank restricting the hose?

Looking at NADA and the stats here on iboats does anyone know the difference between the "CX" or "STATUS" models?
Both have identical length and beam and weight...must be a trim level?

Might be taking a look at a 1982 21' Webbcraft powered by Mercruiser 260.
I've done some googleing and know they were built by Bill Webb in Oklahoma. Found a few opinions online, but there's very little out there.

I just drilled some holes in the back of the boat to install a transducer and water came out the hole. (still running as you see) There is no water in the bilge as I had pulled the plug earlier. The spider/stress cracks are new. I found stress cracks mid hull that were new also.
