    i have another question about my boat. There is a water cooled voltage regulator on it and it is bad. So do i have to replace the stater too . or just the regulator . Or is the best thing to do is get a alternator kit for it . any help would be great thanks mike

    Wire Diagrams needed for 1986/7 Chaparral 170HP

    Just bought this boat recently and has alot of the wiring ripped out. I need a wire diagram for the entire boat including engine, so it can be rewired. we have alot of work to do on it but we wanna wire it up and see what all other damage has been done.
