    1996 volvo penta 5.8 EFi runs cold at higher RPM's.

    I have a pair of Volvo 5.8 efi that comes up to 160 deg at low rpm's, but when I push the power up past 1500rpm's the eng temps drop to 100 & 110 deg. Not sure what's going on. Could the water pressure be opening the thermostats?
