    Running cold

    2011 5.7 MPI. The engine runs at about 110-120 on gauge and infrared thermo. Changed the thermostat twice this season. The last one I pulled out I inspected. It was closed. Placed it in hot water, it opened and closed when I removed it. What else could cause it to run cold?

    No crank

    Mercruiser 5.0 TKS. I started motor, was idling a minute or 2 then just stalled. I tried to restart, had no buzzer, no lights, no horn and no click or crank. Battery is new and reading 12.8 volts. Battery cables are clean and tight. Circuit breaker behind carb is not tripped. Any help appreciated.

    Temperature code

    Posting for my Son-in-law, he has a 2011 Searay with 5.7 MPI Bravo drive. He is getting a Temperature non critical fault on his dash. We replaced the thermostat that was stuck open which cured all the low temp issues. Do you need special equipment to erase the code? Thanks!

    New season. Still chasing an overheat problem

    2008 Mercruiser 5.0 liter TKS Alpha 1 Gen 2 Raw water cooled. Engine begins running hot over 3000 rpms. If you back off it will cool down. Will run at normal temp all day as long as rpms are under 3000. Here's what I've done so far. 1 Changed manifolds and risers. They were 8 years old...
