    89 Force 125 shifting problem

    any help when hooked up to hose shifts and runs fine. When put in water shifts but when I throttle up it kicks in and out like the gears are engaging.

    I have a 89 125 and all of a sudden it wont stay in gear. If you run it with just the hose hooked up its fine but when you put it in the water it kicks out. it will go into gear but as soon as you give it gas it acts like its slipping on the gears any ideas?
