    Slow getting on plane

    Is it possible to use my Suzuki DT55 Brass prop on my Mercury 50hp ELPT? What would I have to do? All spline, length of shaft on prop, all fits fine.

    Advise on proper size and pitch for 2005 Mercury 50hp ELPTO motor.

    Label on lower unit says 12 x 22, but prop on motor is only 10" diameter and pitch is unknown. Need a spare and want to buy the right prop.

    Estimate on gallons of fuel to oil use

    I recently got a 2005 Mercury 50ELPTO and wonder if anyone can estimate how many gallons of gas would be used for a full tank of oil in the motor, plus another gallon. Mostly running full throttle. Going to Canada for a week and about 100 miles to the nearest town so want to bring enough oil...

    DT55 runs fine until it cuts back

    Hi ... have an '87 model DT55 that will start and idle fine, then runs fine, up on plane, full throttle. All of a sudden it will cut back to slow trolling speed without touching anything. This year we rebuilt fuel pump, in past year have rebuilt and adjusted all 3 carbs, put in new plugs...

    DT55 won't start

    Hi ... my 1985 DT55 has 2 problems. It won't start unless I spray gas into the spark plug hole, and it will stall at low, near idle speed. Carbs were rebuilt about 5 years ago, new plugs this year, new gas this year, was told it could be fuel pump. Any ideas??
