    mercury marine 496 mag pressure sensor 881879T11

    can the sensor be by passed? I have had 3 fail ($120. @) in this year. when I fails the eng. goes down to about 1,100 rpm. I have not tryed to disconnect it or by pass it. Hope someone can help Thanks Joe South east Fl
