I have a 1982 35 hp evinrude and I am trying to replace the impeller. I took the 5 bolts out put in reverse and loosened the nut behind the screen on the lower unit. There is a little black fitting on the end of the shaft drive that wont let the nut come off to drop the lower unit. Do i just rip...
