I am curious if anyone has ever/read about possibly taking there anodes of there drives and running them through a light sand blast just to remove the build up. would that return the anode to somewhat of a new condition exposing the new material?

I drained my lower unit of oil and plan on doing a pressure test tomorrow,(very nasty oil/water came out)
I am wondering if there is a way to (douche) clean out the drive. maybe flush new oil through the drive?
