Hi I pick up one of the Mini Tach and hour Meter from Ebay
Simple setup, just wrap wire around no.1 spark plug
Mine is 2 cylinder 2 stroke
(old Merc 2 stroke 20hp)
Would I set it for ?
1. spark plug fires twice per revolution
2. once per evolution
3. every other revolution

Hi, I have a 9.8 Merc s/n 3799690 that I just replaced the Trigger and switch box and rebuilt the carb.
Placed the bottom unit in a bucket of water and it started with the 3 pull.:D
That god for that, actually thank you guys for helping me figure how to test and work on this motor.:)

Thunderbolt IV with Stator and Trigger.
Do I have to install a Rectifier to hook up a tach?
What are my options?
