    Convert an 87 V-4 140 Evinrude from 9amp to 35 amp charging

    I was told that it is possible to change the charging system on an 87 140 V4 Evinrude from 9amp to 35amp. Does anyone know what would be involved as far as what I would have to change on the motor. Thanks in advance,
