    Fuel line sucking air?

    Hi all! I think the carb on my Mercruiser 3.0 is sucking air in where the fuel line screws into the front of it. The rpms increase momentarily when I spray carb cleaner around it. Can I use the white teflon thread tape to help seal it up or will the fuel melt it and gum my carb up? Many thanks...

    Battery Charging

    When charging a marine battery, do I select "standard" or "AGM" for the type of battery on the charger? I tried to look up the data on my battery, but it didn't state if it was an AGM-type. Thanks!!

    Carb Problem??

    Gear oil selection

    Hi All! I want to change out the gear oil out of the stern drive on my Mercruiser. A fellow boater told me he just uses normal (non-marine grade) gear oil on his and has never had any problems, and it is a lot less expensive. Any advice? Thanks!!
