i bought this boat with 2 outboards almost a year ago, one engine runs great, the other has been a pain since i bought it.
they are twin mercury 2007 efi 150xl
the problem with the bad engine is and has always been the same.
it starts right up, doesn't run very clean but it does run and idle...

i have now built two boxes attached to the transom, but i dont know what would be the best way to shape them.

this is an easy one, the left is one of the old ribs, not making contact with the hull and the right is the new one touching the hull, and hopefully reinforcing it, please let me know what you guys think.

im looking for alternatives to gelcoat as paint for the floor as the gelcoat seems to be hard to clean and gets dirty very easy.
