    Mercury 4cyl. w/ aluminum head?

    I have a friend that asked if I had ever heard about a Mercury inboard 4 cyl. with an aluminum head(Possibly 460L ??).Late 80s' about 190HP. Does anyone have any info about these motors? Any good?

    Fishfinders?!

    I have a Si-Tex depth sounder that came with a used boat that I purchased. It seems to do a decent job when bottom fishing, showing structures and what appears to be fish near the bottom. How much more detail can I get by upgrading and is it worth it? If so, any suggestions?

    Reman vs. Rebuild

    I blew a cylinder head in a 1997 Mercury 150 EFI. Is it worth rebuilding if it is not destroyed instead of buying a remanned powerhead? I have received quotes to rebuild for half the price of buying a reman powerhead.
