    Hi guy?s, i have an 6 hp Evinrude, and it runs perfectly, however im in doubt if i realy need the thermostate for the water cooling ? It runs fine without it, and my idea is that it just cools all the time, and still not overheats....... Any thoughts........ Brian.

    Evinrude 1984 6 Hp Belgium Derated, how to underate back to 8 Hp

    Hi?, i have an Evinrude 1984 6 Hp that is Belgium Derated to the 6 Hp, that is originaly 8 Hp, does anyone know how to fix it back to the 8 Hp, ore otherwise tune it up a bit. Thanx, Brian.
