    No spark in the top two cylinders of a 100hp 2+2 1988 Merc.

    We can't get any spark in our top cylinders. The bottom two work just fine. We have switched around the plug wires, plugs, and coils and it does the same thing. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

    1988 100hp Merc. No spark in the top two cylinders!

    Can't get the top two cylinders to spark in my 1988 100hp Mercury outboard 2+2. The bottom two work perfectly. Have flopped the two top for the bottom coils, plugs and plug wires. Same problem! So I believe that rules out the coils, plugs, and wires. Can anyone help? Thanks.
