am going to patch my alum hull 16 ft crestliner,,has 6 inch crack along side stringer weld, this is an extremly thin hull,maybe 1/8 inch,, the boat repair guys here west coast canada, wont touch it with welder, they have tried and it just wants to burn thru,,yes i'm talking about alum boat...
