I have an 1986 evinrude 30 hp. It is hard to start. When it start it will warm up but wont Idle. Could this be becuase I just hooked up the controls.. Also Where is the start position on the warm up lever??? Thanks....
Is is possible to hook up single lever controls to my outboard. The shift lever is on the one side and the throddle lever on on the left. They are not connecected in any way. Do I need dual lever controls? Is there a kit for the single lever? Thanks Dan
which control cable goes where? One cable that is attached to the warm up lever and the other cable is attached to the throddle. My motor has the gear shift lever on the left side and the throddle assembly on the left. I dont understand what goes where. Please assist. Thanks in advance...

Which battery do I hook mt lights up to? The cranking battery or the deep cycle battery. DO I need some kind of regulator or can I hook it directly to the battery with a switch?
