wondering if anyone knows what the resistance of the crank position sensor for a 1989 yamaha excel 225 or the peak voltage using a dva meter while cranking the engine trying to find out why i have no spark.:facepalm:
connected dva adapter to both blue wires and got a reading of 5v peak...
I have a 1989 yanaha excel 225 started out checking for spark with tester
no spark was seen so built D.V.A Adapter and took readings from stator hi spd=14.4v low spd=85v
next trigger 2.9v /3.8v /3.0v lighting coil .6 ohms cps reads OL ohms:confused: the manual says 710 ohms
