You would think so. mine don’t have a choke. It has an en richer but that’s what it acts like act like the jokes on it but it starts too easy when it’s cold and it’s hot but I’ll double check that thank you for your response.

W which one would cause the motor to lose top in power. It all started after the fuse blew to the rectifier I replace a rectifier and it ran pretty good about 10 minutes and then lost top in again. Would you think rectifier or stator ? Thank you

I had issues on this motor and ran a post and got a lot of help. Got sick was not able to go out and double checking to see if what I tried had worked ,appreciate all the help, I did notice I had a burnt rectifier. It melted on the hot wire coming in when all this started my temp gauge shorted...
Had some health issues. Haven’t been able to look at the boat for a while ,today and was checking in where the fuse that blew out and traced it to the rectifier and under the cap the rectify was melted, so replace rectifier seem to solve the problem. Thank you very much for your help.

I know the fuse has nothing to do with how in runs, but I think the power sure that blew the fuse shorted something out Thank you , I think I might have damaged the high in coil on the stator , or maybe the trigger, something was damaged when things shorted out , guess when I can I’ll get my...
