My starter would only click when I tried to start it. So I tightened the nut on the solenoid, as I removed the wrench I got a big spark. Now I have no power at the control panel and nothing when I try to start it, I looked for a fuse or breaker on the engine but unable to locate one. any suggestions
I have a 2000 90 Hp Mercury 2 stroke won't start unless I spray starting fluid into the air intake. It will restart if you have the engine off for just a few minutes but if left off for a while I have to spray starting fluid.
