    paint vs wrap

    has anyone had a boat wrap as an alternative to paint? I plan on paint on an aluminum boat but wanted to know if wrapping is a worthy method. How long do they last and will it stand up to salt water and the elements? thanks - bill

    what is best way to re-enforce a damaged aluminum skin?

    i have a aluminum boat that has 4 or 5 quater sized dents in the same area rather close together that i want to pull out then re-enforce from behind to stiffen things up and prevent future damage. What is the best way? Should a tack weld a peice of aluminum sheet on the back side? thanks bill
