I have a clicking noise in certain spots while steering. It is a newly installed Teleflex cable and helm.The noise seems to be coming from inside the new helm, other than the noise the steering works fine. Has anyone experienced this, is it safe to use.
This is an electric start engine, I recently installed a new actuator plate on my engine. My question is > did I change the timing when I replaced the actuator plate, if so, how do I reset the timing.
I have a Suzuki NSA 2177 Tach with a Gray, Yellow, Black and a red wire coming from it. I have a 40HP Mercury # OD163044 outboard that I want to use this on.
Where do I connect the Tach wires to ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What function does the baffle in the float chamber serve in a WMA carb. Can the Carb run normal without it ? Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

Does this engine have a thermostat , I can not locate one on the engine and there is no reference to it in the repair manual. If it does have a thermostat can someone describe where it is located on the engine.

Can someone tell me the torque specs for the plastic water pump housing bolts on a 1990 Yamaha 115hp.2/stroke.<br />The Clymer manual I have only gives the specs up to an 8hp , it must be an error because the next page starts off with specs for the gear box.
