    My Aluminum sib Trailer

On the last picture it looks like the axle is to far forward, well it was but everything is adjustable on this trailer so it was not a problem to move it to the rear. https://youtu.be/jUWdr1oXTdQ

    My Aluminum sib Trailer

Once I bought my 14ft sib,30hp remote 2 stroke motor with steering wheel and controls I was in need of a trailer to put it on. It seems like a lot of people use pwc trailers after modifying them. That's what I tried to do and after taking careful measurements I bought a friends trailer, then...

Repair of ribs and sibs on YouTube.

For a funny, entertaining yet informative channel on YouTube check out Alfred Montaner's. He owns a small but growing repair shop in Miami. He does ribs and sibs but mostly ribs and some very big ones. Too it's not only just a repair shop but a high end custom shop. https://youtu.be/FCbUH6WJirw

    Best choices for kicker motors?

I have a 72 Johnson 6 hp I wouldn't hesitate to use as a kicker. That motor is very strong running and very reliable that always starts on the first pull. As I understand those OMC motors have built a strong reputation of reliability over the years.

A reply to the question about steering

A question about adding a steering wheel was asked but that topic was closed so I thought I would answer that in a new topic. The answer to the question is yes you can add steering,it's easy, you can do it yourself and it doesn't take up a lot of space if you use the setup that I have. Everything...

Fuel hose connected/not connected while trailering?

In the short time I've been boating I have always connected the fuel hose to my motor and portable fuel tank before leaving for the lake, which is only five miles away, and disconnecting when I got home. I never gave it a second thought until yesterday when I was leaving the lake. I have a long...

1993 Johnson 70 hp. I want to test compression and spark and want to do it at the engine rather than the control box. I've seen them used on YouTube and would like to make one myself. Impressions of Saturn XD430 Extra Long Inflatable boat after first use

My first trailer for my 14ft sib was an Easy Loader meant for one pwc. I used it one time going thirty miles and decided it was not going to work without a good amount of modification which having to have someone do it I might end up spending a thousand dollars so started looking for a built for...

What are you using to write registration numbers on the boat?

On my first sib I used a couple of pieces of cutting board like material and I just stuck the numbers on without glue...didn't fall off. On my next sib I used the same boards for the numbers but glued the registration sticker on the tubes...the stickers are coming unglued. Texas law reads like...
