    removing old carpt glue

    Any easy way to remove old glue from the sides of a aluminum boat. Want to paint the sides and don't think the paint will stay on over the old glue.

    Wood floor

    Replaceing floor in my boat have lots of ash that i can use it will just need coated with some sort of water proofing. Will this hold up better tha the old 1/2" plywood that was in it?
