    Will 1985 150hp 2.4 lower unit fit on 1983 2.0 150hp

    Need a lower unit for my 1983 Merc XR2 150 2.0 outboard, found a 1985 2.4 150 hp merc with a blown power head, but perfect lower unit..will it fit? Any modifications needed or? Also what is the difference between the 2.0 and 2.4? Thanks!

    1983 Black Max 150 Not Shifting into Forward
