I accuired two 1966 evinrude 80hp motors. One is a speedifour and the other is a starlight. The speedifour runs but the lower end gears are shot I was told. The starlight has starter issues so I'm not sure if it runs. Om just wondering if the parts on these motors are interchangeable.
i just got a 66 evinrude starflite 80 hp on trade, and just wondering what i can do about the starter. i cannot find a used one anywhere. the teeth arent too horrible but it seems like its not fully meshing with the flywheel. is the any adjustment or shimming on the starter? any more info on...
