Default WOT timing spec for '72 Johnson 100hp (100ESL72R) Please

I Have ordered the service manual for my "new" 1972 Johnson 100hp (100ESL72R). Not arrived yet. I have timed it at idle to 4 deg BTDC. I would like to set the WOT timing. Could someone please tell me the WOT timing SPEC (deg BTDC) for this engine?

theres no better answer than the manual... wait until you get the manual to find out the timing then follow the link below on how to set the WOT timing...

Thanks for the links countvlad. I know how to do the timing. I was hoping someone would have the manual already and be able to give me the factory spec for the 3500+rpm timing so I could put it into the water this week.

OK, got the factory manual today. Timing at idle is 5 degrees BTDC. WOT timing is 28 degrees BTDC @ 4500rpm in gear. There it is for posterity.

OK use these instructions, and shoot for 24 * BTC, they work and 99% of the time low speed takes care of itself. no need for the motor to be running.
