wiring for electronic shifting 1969 55hp evinrude

Hello. I have an older motor that has electronic shifting. It is a 1969 55 HP Evinrude. I just installed this motor on my boat last summer and the wires were off on the throttle for the push button shifting. I was wondering if anyone out there knew the way to put them back on. There are three wires. I was also told that there was a special type of lower unit oil to use with the electronic shifting style motor. Is this true, and if it is, what is it? Info on the motor is as follows: Model #55973 A Serial # J06167 1969 55hp Evinrude outboard
