I have a 1967 Johnson 40 HP (RDS-29E) that I'm having a fit with...won't turn over unless I jump the solenoid and then the wire to the neutral switch start to smoke!? I've searched my manuals for a wiring diagram but could not find one for this specific model.

Appreciate any insight.
