You can say I'm a real greenhorn when it comes to outboard repair work. I have purchased a new water pump to replace the currently out-of-commission water pump. My question is, is there anything "special" I should take into consideration before attempting this repair? Any helpful, time saving hints? All suggestions are welcomed and greatly appreciated!Respectfully,Jeremy
Hello, Jeremy.Yes. The first thing to consider is that anyone who tries to work on any outboard without a Manual has a fool for a wrench. (That is almost a quote from Steelspike)Click on Repair Manuals at the bottom of the page.Good luck.
