12 poles I believe.
1984 Cimmarron bassboat 16', with a E90TLCRD, 13.5 x 18 Raker SS prop, Minn Kota 55AT trolling motor.
It should be set on 6P.

6p, this may help. Tachometers read off the alternating pulses from the stator. Tachs have rotary switches on the back that set it to different numbers of coils in the charging circuit, times two because there is a positive and negative pulse for each coil for each cycle. Tachs measure pulses.
