About LinkBacksI HAVE A 89 STRATOS (110 V4 JOHNSON). MY SPEEDO QUIT WORKING...SUDDENLY. I CHECKED EVERYTHING AND IT ALL SEEMS TO BE HOOKED UP. UNDER THE DASH AND ON THE UNIT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOAT.DO THE SENDING UNITS GO OUT JUST LIKE THAT? I NOTICED THAT THE LITTLE BALL ON THE END OF THE SENDING UNIT SEEMS TO BE ALMOST GONE AS IN RUBBED FLAT. WOULD THAT DO IT? TANKS GUYS !!..........SKIP

Easy fix. You should visit a marine parts store and examine a new pitot then check your again. The pitot is probably shot or your hose has split somewhere. Worse case the speedo itself has passed away.
Please don't use all caps it is considered shouting.
