SeaFoam??

Hey everyone,

I have a 1985 Johnson 40hp outboard that the oil injection pump is disconnected.
I premix and always use Stabil fuel stabilizer.
I want to use seafoam to clean things out - what ratio to gas should I use and can it be used with Stabil??

you need to do a decarb to clean out, the mix according to directions on the can, to maintain a clean motor.

also seafoam will not clean a carb, it will maintain a clean carb.

I use Sta-bil and Seafoam together to store gas over the winter, then just Seafoam during the summer when the boat gets used everyday. I mix it 2 ounces per gallon of gas and have good results.
