Hello, does anyone know the correct points gap and timing procedure for
the johnson 6R-70B outboard. I bought one at a garage sale for $10.00
but it has no spark, it had been sitting for over 20 years without use
so the points are probably corroded. Its in great shape, original paint still
on the prop. Can anyone help with the gap and timing procedure?

Points gap is .020" at their widest opening. Timing is built in and not adjustable. It does advance / retard with the throttle setting.
