Please help with year of 85hp Evinrude Stareflight Serial#C834187 Model#85393M

I just bought this 85hp Evinrude serial#C83187 model#85393M and I can't find out the year any help from you guys would be great. I think the bottom end is broken because I can turn the prop around both ways in forward or reverse I don't know if this is normal so any help would be great!

Hey there. I just bought a boat with this motor. Do yoyo happen to know what the compression should be on all 4cylinders? What do yoyo think of this motor overall? Thanks in advance
