OT-Canvas cover

How/ what to use for removing mildew and mold from the under side of the canvas boat cover?

Is there anything that can be put on it to inhibit the return?

Wasn't sure where to post this, feel free to move it.

I used soap and water and a stiff brush to remove it.
I picked up a mold resistant spray and spray the cover.
I'm also putting on vents to help let the moisture out.

If you could PM me with the brand of mold resistant spray? I have never seen any, but then again I wasn't looking either. Got no place to ad vents. That would defeat the purpose of the cover (keeping out water).

I will go hunting for mold resistant something.

i used to work in a marine canvas shop, we would always recomend 409 for cleaning, as far as the mildew got to watch what you put on there, some of it isnt compatable with the material. stuff from an outdoor store for tents and such is probably a safe bet
