    Default need help air/fuel mixture on 76 johnson 85hp

    ive looked through my manual and cant find anything about idle air screw on the carbs just wondering how to do it.. thak you..

    The '76 85 didn't have idle air screws. Only jets. Post a model # ??

    Last year for the idle air screws was 1971. You can check out the factory parts diagrams at: epc.brp.com

    Those screws in there are just that......screws. With gaskets under the heads. They are to be screwed all the way in, snug tight.
