Default Need help on 1985 140HP johnson fuel pump

    Hi to all,
I noticed that the plastic fitting that comes off front of fuel pump that has hose attached from oil tank broke off.
I am unemployed and simply cannot afford $300-$400 for new fuel pump assembly.
The front of the pump is held on by 6 torx screws. Cant I replace just that front piece that has the barb connection for the oil line and fuel filter???
Does anybody have bad fuel pump they want to get rid of cheap.I only need the front end
    Thanks in advance for help,
    Vinny P
