need help 1979 115hp evinrude outboard!!!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what years and other HP outboard evinrudes have the same heads as my 1979 115hp evinrude outboard does? any help would be much appreciated!! thanks guys!

where would i find the model number at on the motor?

Should be a plate by the port transom bracket or find a silver welch plug on top of crankcase; should be model # and serial # on it.

Thayre going to be the standard 78-81 low compression head found on 90-115 powerheads. Ive got a pristine set I pulled off my 81 vintage 90 if you need some.

You can look up your own heads on the Bombardier parts catalog website: epc.brp.com. The 79-81 heads are still the high compression ones and are solid heads. Look for 125 lbs compression out of them. Much preferable to the later low compression bathtub heads. The 140 heads from 79 are even better.

Found the model number 115993R .
will "wired 247" heads work? or is there a better year to look for? just asking guys i know nothing about this.
