lower unit filling, 1976 2 hp johnson

Is there only one screw for the lower unit on a 2 hp motor? I have filled others and always taken out 2 screws... one upper, one lower. I figure it's possible that there's so little oil going in that I could do it with one.

I would get one of these and fill it slowly until it comes out the hole. Replace the filler screw washer/seal...

I'm sure rickdb1boat ment to mention, you fill it while the engine is lying on it's side with the plug facing up.

It takes on about 1.25 oz!
