Johnson 7.5 HP Sea Horse

Hi, I am looking for information pertaining to a Johnson 7.5 hp, Sea Horse, Model AD-10M, Serial # 1404878. Purchased at an estate sale. I am new to the world of gas powered engines. The engine will start and run but does not draw water into the engine to cool it off. Johnson dealer rep indicated that it might be an "impeller"? But did not know the year of the motor or if he could obtain parts. I have reviewed a number of comments pertaining to this topic but need additional help to obtain the year of the motor and a lead on the part number and/ or manual. Projected cost to replace this part??Thank you in advanced for your kind words

Your Johnson AD10 is a 1956 model. you can get an after market manual for your motor here at I-boats at the bottom of the page. Most other service parts including manual and water pump empeller can be ordered by your OMC dealer or Napa auto parts dealer.
