hope u remember how the pip was facing when you took it off. That's important for correct reassembly. If you dont you will just have to keep trying different ways. I just did one last week, had a hell of a time. Just start with the two extra points on the very bottom plate facing up.

    This may help:

    http://www.sschapterpsa.com/rambling...g_fuelpump.htm

It covers your kit and the OEM one.

    Thanks,

That did the trick. For others from the illistration mentioned above, I followed the sequence Q being the first back to A, in the pictures this is (diagram 4). I inserterd the mounting screws thu the base, first, to line everything up.

The larger holes in valve gasket(H) should match exactly the larger holes in outlet housing(F). rotate or flip to match.

Blowing through the input and output will let you know if it works. Press all the parts together before you install the screws and air test. You will easily know if you can blow through the valves.

The first time was wrong, I could easily blow through the outlet valve. I rotated the metal outside cover plate (D) 1/4 a turn and that fixed it.

If the motor mounting bracket does not line up, carefully remove the assembly screws and rotate the back metal base(P) 1/4 a turn.

The little air-dome spring with the plastic support is a challange because of being small. Be careful you can easily loose. Suggest you keep the old spring and cap one just in case you drop one.

I found it is easier to attached the hoses and clamps before mounting to the motor.
